Frequently Asked Questions

Christian homeschool families who are:

  • Homeschooling at least one school aged child. We have nursery and preschool classes for younger siblings.
  • Looking for classes to supplement  their home school.
  • Willing and able to participate by teaching classes to others.
  • Willing to make a year-long teaching commitment to the families of REACH.
  • In agreement with our Statement of Faith, Arbitration Agreement, Waiver of Liability and our Rules and Guidelines.

REACH is a cooperative effort of parents. REACH parents teach our classes.  Typically it is the mom who teachers, but occassionally we have a dad or a grandparent interested in teaching.  Joining REACH is making a commitment to the other families to teach for the school year.

Our high school serves students in 9th - 12th grade.

Our intermediate serves students 6th - 8th.

There are some classes that combine both high school and intermediate, and there are some classes that specifically target a smaller selection of grade levels (for example, IEW classes).

Our elementary serves K-5th and we typically divide students up K - 2nd and 3rd - 5th.

We have a preschool program that serves the siblings of our students birth through PreK-4.

There is a $75 application fee for each new family. This covers our building, insurance, and administrative costs. In addition to this fee each class has its own fee and these vary. Generally, the most expensive classes we have are our upper level classes, especially sciences such as Biology where dissection kits and text books are required.  For more information on class fees see our Class Catalog.  Each class will have its fee listed there.

We meet at Central Christian Church located at 1651 E. Campbell Road in Richardson, Texas on Friday afternoons from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Download the Registration Packet and follow the instructions you find there. Upon receiving your information we will review your application and check your references. After this is done you will be hearing from us. We will not cash your check until we have spoken with you.

REACH Co-op admits students of cooperating famlies. Generally the co-op can only support the number of students that come with each teaching parent. Appropriate student-teacher ratios are important for a quality program.
